Costly plastic bags soon in Kosovo

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has met representatives of the Packe Salers Network.

During the discussion they have agreed not to misuse plastic bags, as well as to set a minimum price, as is done in countries in the region.

Kosovo's “government will be a private sector partner, carefully addressing its challenges, in the face of legislation at power”.

“With the entire law, which is designed to go into effect for placing origin flags on all products, there is common readiness for, in the first phase, technically, senbilisation to be done through exposure to the Kosovo flag, as a signal to the consumer to empower local production”.
