Serbia's Parliament MP, liberal Cedomir Jovanovic, does not oppose the establishment of the Kosovo Army. However, he says that the time chosen to form is inappropriate.

According to him, Serbia should not create problems on the issue of forming the Kosovo Army, as Albanians cannot feel secure without an army, the cause of the past, writes Express newspaper.

Jovanvovic says talks between Belgrade and Pristina should continue as soon as possible.

The “is extremely necessary to continue the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade as quickly as possible, because it is clear, that because of previous actions, negotiations have remained without alternative, and any threat to war destabilise the entire region”, Jovanvovic has said.

He says the two presidents -- Thaci and Vuciq -- have responsibility for this and should worry about the situation.

A deal they can reach is an opportunity, this chance will not be repeated and cannot be lost”, the Serbian politician says.

Asked specifically about the army's creation issue, Jovanovic says Albanians do not feel secure without an army because of the past, therefore should not be seen as a problem.

“The Albanian gun is Albanian with weapons, regardless of whether it is under the umbrella of the KLA, KSF, or the Kosovo Army. For this reason, I shouldn't be a problem, as Albanians' cause of the past do not feel safe without weapons”, Cedomir Jovanovic has said.

The Serbian politician, who recognises the Republic of Kosovo as a state, says the establishment of the Kosovo Army, however, has become an inappropriate moment.

“I also believe that the establishment of the Kosovo Army at this moment made reaching an agreement even more difficult, and those who have decided to establish it only help the ambitions of those who do not want to solve the Kosovo problem”, the Serbian MP has suggested.

He says that establishing peace in the region should be decided on all daily policies.

“Whatever Vuciqi's political plan, Thaci or Haradinaj, it should not be an obstacle to peace and the preservation of even fragile reports between Kosovo and Serbia”, it has added further.

Jovanovic has also talked about the Haradinaj Government's decision to impose a 100 per cent tax on products originating from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying that decision, along with the decision to establish the Army, ultimately jeopardises dialogue between the two states.

The Serbian MP, who is known for his anti-government positions in Serbia, says Europe is currently out of line, and that reaching agreement between Pristina and Belgrade depends solely on the maturity of political elites in both states.

According to him, failure of dialogue will lead to disaster.

THE entire region is dependent on reports between Serbs and Albanians because ending this problem opens up prospects for other countries in the region. Those who lead Albanians and Serbs should know that people want only a little peace for themselves and their families, and the irritability of reports in recent weeks can have unimaginable consequences for their lives”, Jovanvovic concluded for Express.

Yesterday's Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo has unanimously voted three laws that make the KSF's conversion into the Army.

Following the adoption of these laws, it has been immediate the US response, which has supported the establishment of the Army.

Also, official Berlin has said it is the sovereign right of the state of Kosovo to create the military.

France and Great Britain have also supported the army.
