Australia is expected to be hit by a wave of major heat this week, which can also break the maximum temperature record for December. Authorities in the Victoria region have issued alarms for some parts of this country because of health risks and fire risks. Alarms have also been issued in western Australia, southern and Tasmania.
The Kimberley region in western Australia is one of the countries that can break the highest temperature record. There the temperature is expected to reach 47 degrees Celsius, breaking the previous record annual of 46.5 degrees. Temples above 40 degrees are expected to be found in the continental interior of South Australia.
The average Christmas temperature in the southern part of the country will generally be six to twelve degrees higher than the average”, said Sarah Fitton, extreme weather meteorologist at the Bureau of Meteorology.
Queensland region is the only country expected to have lower than average temperatures. Meteorologist has said that Australia's sky has no clouds, so this heat wave is expected to continue, writes the Guardian”, broadcast Express.
