Analyst: Armed robbery, victimized, left traces of collective memory

Security Affairs expert Agim Musliu has said that there is no sign or any indication that society is in panic or fear for internal security.

Musliu indicated that criminals who come from the West have practiced this type of crime in these lands.

This is a phenomenon that has just occurred in Kosovo in the last decade. One of the elements is criminals coming from the West and practicing this kind of crime, condemned and deported. Kosovo society has not been ready for this kind of crime and armed robbery. Especially in the last two years has it occurred at the centre of the robbery of business centres, banks etc.”, he said.

According to him, the full freedom of Kosovo citizens is not endangered or violated.

Everyone has to do their job, the police, the judiciary, so these criminals can't be let go and do their job. The respective institutions must invest more in the police. Police must have equipment, train, increase the number of policemen and general professional establishment”, Musliu said.

And sociologist Artan Mujaziri said that these events are traumatic.

Muhramir pointed out that these cause brutal disorder of routine in everyday life and leave deep traces of collective memory.
