Social Democratic Party Chairman (PSD), Shpend Ahmeti, and the co-chairman of the Negotiator Team for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, has said today that EU foreign policy representatives do not adapt to a team of political unity for dialogue since they fear the final agreement with Serbia could be jeopardised.
Ahmeti has made this comment during the debate he is participating in with Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, once leader of the negotiating team, on TV Dukajni.
Shpend Ahmeti has also commented on criticism of the PSD, from former VV co-partisans who have called Hashim Thaci's <x0).
He has said the reason why they have insisted on voting the resolution on dialogue is because President Hashim Thaci held three meetings with Aleksandar Vucicinqi, and neither Parliament nor opinion know what the disk has done and where it has arrived with talks.
And considering that we are the parliamentary republic we have considered that the Parliament should take over the primat in this dialogue and that's why, the idea has been from the beginning both the LDK and the VV to be part and we haven't mentioned it The PSD never in Resolution, but we have asked for this to become the Law and that law to determine what will be done in the negotiations. The Assembly will play its own role, have representations of all parties and more truly have a unique approach according to Serbia”.
Ahmeti said the tax imposed on Serbia better explains the need for political unity for state decisions. According to him, the political spectrum would not be unified in terms of the pressure tax on Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj would be much larger.
Instead of fleeing from responsibility, on the other hand, we didn't have the numbers to bring down Government”, Ahmeti said. Until he mentioned the fact that the opposition has not given the signatures for the collapse of the government, and now it must unite beyond political interests, for the state.
