Gjilan's Foundation Court concludes 2018 with several achievements, with special emphasis on solving the number of subjects.

Gjilan Foundation Court Chairman Ramiz Azazi has held a conference for the end of the year, revealing some achievements and challenges facing the tribunal.

And we've been able to get positive in each department in the number of subject resolutions, with this I can say that the number of materials collected for years, is continuing to decline year-on-year, and that's a success for our” court, Asia said.

The Gjilan Foundation Court, along with branches in Kamenica, Year and Novoberda, has accepted a total of 8176 substances, while managing to solve 12050 substances, means 3874 more materials have been solved by those accepted.

Moreover, he has said that the Court has given a great priority to solving the substances of the nature of corruption, during this year alone, 40 subjects of this nature have been taken into judgment, in the workplace there are 20 subjects of this nature and all in the procedure.

Also, a priority has been given to solving family violence, organized crime, narcotics, and robbery.

“The court, along with the branches for 2018, has issued 220 punitive acts of imprisonment for the accused, 808 fine convictions and 1610 cases of parole sentences against the accused, while other acts of prejudice have been liberating, refusing or even judicial remarks”, he stressed.

Mayor Azazi as the main challenge has cited the absence of Serbian-language translators, where many decisions are untranslated and cannot be exposed to parties.
