He further mentioned that following the introduction of the Criminal Code has had positive effects on this Panel.
The parole institution was from entering the Penal Code barrel, and then the Law for Execution of Criminal Sanctions is significantly advanced, and it is noteworthy that convicted persons are allowed to have greater access within the criteria used by the panel during their deployment. The Condition Freedom Panel is using appropriate criteria for persons convicted with the aim of correcting and re-socialising them, and is positively influencing the process of reintegration of convicted persons into the family and social circle”, Duraku points out.
Under Kosovo law a convicted criminal offence for which the sentence of at least five years is envisioned could be released on bail after it holds two-thirds of its pronounced sentence. For other criminal acts, the convicted person may be released on parole after he holds half the sentence pronounced. /Okéu. com
