Members of the Society, April 27, 1999, have said today that a big game is being played with photos of the missing, adding that they are being killed in second place.
Haki Sadriou, the association's representative, said they have met with both Gjakova municipal officials and the Meja complex's chief but are not allowed to take pictures of their family.
He said that the police reported it too, but the photos of their most loved ones have not been returned.
These complaints have been filed before members of the Commission for Human Rights, where representatives of the Memorial Management Agency and the Government Commission for Missing Persons have also reported.
The director of the Memorial Management Agency, Bislim Zogaj, has said the problem is with the employer. Zogaj said they have not yet managed to obtain photos, hoping that within two weeks this topic will be completed.
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Teuta Haxhiu said that the question of photographs must be resolved as soon as possible, because according to her condition, it is more than a violation.
It is the responsibility of each one that, as soon as we complete this process, of the massacre of Meja”, Haxhiu said.
