Members of the Kosovo Police Task Force for Fast Reaction (NJRSH), along with their own autoblinages, are staying at Camp Belvedere in the village of Frasher in Mitrovica.
Kosovo sources make known that they have arrived from Pristina and other Kosovo countries to react in the north in the event of need.
“There are rumours that Serbs are preparing to place barricades in several key positions linking south and north of the country, including the main bridge over Iber in Mitrovica. In that case, police will react immediately not to allow those barricades”, sources have said.
Sources have further added that if they receive orders from Belgrade, northern Serbs, except for the main bridge, plan to place barricades in the village of Rudare and Zupc, as well as in some other countries, with what cases the flow of vehicles would be paralyzed towards the Jarinje and Brnjak border points.
