Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has reacted to statements by Kosovo counterpart Hashim Thaci, saying those who think to show muscles should think about the price we should pay.

Yesterday, President Thaci in an interview said he would rather dialogue with a devil than with Aleksandar Vucinqi.

Shortly before the upcoming dialogue meeting in Brussels, the head of the Serbian state has commented on President Thaci's statement.

It's interesting that for Sulejman Ugljanin and his supporters, I'm gay and fascist, for Croatians I'm a terrorist, along with Alexandro Karadjevic, for Thaci I'm a demon. For a large part of the people in Serbia I am a traitor, because I must be both a demon and a terrorist in the cube so that I am not a traitor “, Vuciq noted.

He said we need time and time to show our muscles and forget about the price we have to pay.

I don't want to give up on personal evaluations, even if it's not nice to talk to Thaci or any of them. But, as I have said in some cases, it is better to negotiate for 100 years than to fight one day”, Vuciq said, adding that people showing muscles should know all the data.

Otherwise, the summit between Belgrade and Pristina will be held tonight in Brussels, with the mediation of European diplomacy chief Federica Moghrini.

“Vuciq and Thaci are expected to confirm their readiness at the meeting to intensify efforts to reach a legally binding agreement for normalising relations, which is essential for their European path”, the statement said.
