It seems US President Donald Trump is moving away from the fate of republican candidates for the House of Representatives, as the last days before Congress elections, held tomorrow, is committed to assisting Senate candidates and governor, according to the American AP agency.
Trump said the republican enthusiasm was greater than the one he had ever seen, but seems to have lower expectations than his party's results for the House of Representatives.
“I think we'll be fine in the House of Representatives, but as you know, my main focus is on the Senate, and I think we really stay well in the Senate”, he said.
In so-called inter-elections, that is, elections in the middle of the presidential mandate, a new composition of the House of Representatives and a third of all senators will be elected on Tuesday.
At the moment, the Republican Party has a majority in both Congress chambers in the Senate and the House of Representatives.
