At this meeting children will be given an opportunity to be heard by the ombudsman and other IAP representatives, respectively, to express their thoughts, attitudes or concerns, for different problems they face every day, not only in school, but also on the street.
November 20 of each year is marked as the Universal Children's Rights Day in many parts of the world, given the recommendation of the United Nations General Assembly since 1956. The purpose of this day's note is to encourage brotherhood and understanding among children and promote the welfare of children. But on November 20, 1959, the United Nations General Assembly has adopted the Declaration of Child Rights. Also, on November 20, 1989, the General Assembly has adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Children. Since 1999, the Universal Children's Day also marks the anniversary of the date when the General Assembly has approved these documents.
