Ramiz Kelmendi's change of criminal work has led him to avoid trial at the Pristina Foundation Court on charges of stealing electricity, Kalxo.com reports.
In judging Kosovo Parliament MP Ramiz Kelmendi, the prosecutor of the case Blerim Igrista has requalified the criminal work.
Prosecutor Igrista requisified the work from heavy theft to theft of municipal services.
The prosecutor's move has led the subject against the MP to reach absolute prescription, since the theft of municipal services is a work that can be sentenced to up to three years in prison, while the prosecution claims the work was carried out in 2011.
In this situation, the MP can no longer be tried for the same work.
