Thaci through a Twitter post has indicated that he met with Merkel and that he has talked with her about reaching a final agreement with Serbia, so not to mention the idea for some border correction with the Serbian state.

However, Thaci has suggested that he has sought Merkel's support for reaching a peaceful agreement with Serbia and Germany's help for Kosovo's EU membership.
This statement shows that Merkel continues to remain in a position of opposition to Thaci's idea of restructuring the border with Serbia.
I also had a brief conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in #Paris. We discussed the possibility of reaching a comprehensive peaceful agreement for Kosovo and Serbia. We both agreed that Germany's support is crucial for this agreement and our membership in the EU”, Thaci wrote on Twitter.
We remember that Thaci held two meetings in Paris with US President Donald Trump, saying Trump has agreed on the need to expand peace and reconciliation in Europe, meaning reaching the final agreement with Serbia.
Meanwhile, Merkel has also held meetings with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
