Unlegal and unidentified diggers in search of gold, except that they dig the ground inside and around the fortress, have also pierced its walls.

Tetovo's fortress has been completely restive on the part of institutions, and day is being destroyed and littered with garbage. Residents express anger at institutions that are increasingly neglecting this historical monument.

Despite the promise that months ago made by Tetovo Museum director, there is no light, no maintenance and no guard at the moment. The museum director promises again.

We'll see to solve this problem, but there's territory that is the property of the Orthodox Church, but the walls and objects themselves are our wealth and we'll try and hope that in the next year we'll have tools for renovations and maintenance of the Castle”, the Alsat pointed out. - M, Miko Stojcevski, director of the Tetovo Museum.

They don't even take responsibility from Tetovo City Hall. Mayor Teuta Arifi says the only thing she can do is inform the responsible institutions.

“Presentation of this nature in our system if there is, normally we will head to the institutions responsible for doing so”, Arifi said.
