Calmly and cautiously, Serbia will react after Kosovo's decision to raise the tax. So Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq declared before the media after the Security Council meeting.
Vuciq said Kosovo has four reasons that increased the tax from 10 to 100%.
“Pristina has four objectives to achieve, increasing the tax for goods. The first is to pressure for recognition of independence by Belgrade. The second goal is to expel Serbs from Kosovo to the south and north of the country”, Vuciq said initially.
Among other two reasons, he also cited visa liberalisation.
The third thing is to pressure international institutions, and make concessions for visa liberalisation, showing they are ready for destabilisation. Fourth is that we are afraid of any conflict or possible destabilisation for the sake of someone's” interests, Vuciq said.
