For 10 cents more, Kosovars will buy their bread.
The 10 percent tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia has contributed to the increase in the price of bread.
This price in some cities has increased by 5 cents, while others for 10 cents, KTV reports.
All of this as a result of the increase in the price of wheat, which comes from Serbia mainly from Vojvodina.
According to millers so far, the wheat, which was bought by Serbia, was 18 cents and now they buy it for 24 cents.
Another factor, which has influenced Kosovars to pay more dearly for bread, is the increase in the price of wheat in bellas and the price of oil.
This price will not be final, as millers warn even more growth, as compared to the region, in Kosovo the price of bread is cheaper.
For consumer advocates the Government's decision on protective measures will bring price increases to other products as well.
In the Federation of Farmers, there are 10 percent taxes imposed on these two countries.
However, they say the Government had to subsidise millers so that this increase did not touch the consumer's pocket.
Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala pledged that taxing for 10 per cent would have no effect on price hikes.
