The ban on phone use during the learning process. That's what the Ministry of Education decided.
Under Minister Shyqi's decision, the phones are not allowed to be used by students or teachers at pre-university schools.
This decision has been welcomed by the School Directorate “Meto Bajraktari” in Pristina.
We support this decision, we should take it sooner... But the teachers don't think the same way.
But Arjeta Ahmeti, a teacher at this school, says that using phones is essential for students.
For students very well, but for us not much because we often communicate with parents about the health of students...
And in the ministry they say it is working on drafting the details of this decision.
However, Minister Shyqi says even teachers have the right to use the phone only in special school environments.
According to the minister, the reason why such a decision has been made is the lack of proper use of phones in schools.
In December through a directive, implementation of the decision will be specified, while municipal education classates have the responsibility of implementation.
