More than two months have passed since the heavy event in Selenica, where 24-year-old Ritvan Zykaj killed eight of his family members, including women and children.
Ritwan stands at one of Vlora's detention cells, while new details have been made known about his requests in the cell. One source told ABC News that he was surprised when Ritvan Zykaj occasionally seeks different books to read.
He didn't show any preference, but he's done with what he's got. Among the main books in his cell are religious books. The same sources indicated that the 24-year-old has shown no moment of frustration or aggressiveness.
You don't object to anything, food or air. For three months, he stays alone and no one talks to him. His family still doesn't meet him, and the few people they see are the police officers in custody.
Meanwhile, the file is expected to go to court soon. The prosecution is awaiting psychiatric action, and Rifvani spent a week in Tirana, at the prison hospital. At the same time, the charge is also pending photographic signs by scientific police, that of watching the site and examining corpses.
Ritvan Zykaj will be tried by the Vlora Court despite multiple crimes he committed. The event took place on August 10th in the village of Resulaj in Selenica in Vlora. His victims were eight cousins, older ones, adults, and children.
They were just back from a joint lunch when Ritwan took the gun and killed them all one by one, on the street and inside their homes. So far it is known that the 24-year-old was simply treated as an ordinary man and the murder was his revenge.
