Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has called for prices not to rise in the market, which have resulted from the 10% measure imposed on Serbia and Bosnia.
Shala said traders should not act badly towards the country and their citizens.
According to the information we have as MTI, the increase in flour prices on the Kosovo market has even started before this measure increased. Even today, I invite all trade companies in Kosovo that measures the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has taken in relation to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina do not use to increase prices on the market”, Shala said, reports EO.
I invite all businessmen to view this move as the best opportunity for economic development in their country, and not with price increases, as commercial societies to harm their country, their citizen”, Shala said.
Shala has also talked about yesterday's decision on the name of importers in products that are sold on the market, and in which the name of Kosovo is not based on law in force.
“After yesterday's ordinance that I have sent to the trade inspectorate under the MTI, I have asked the inspectorate that they ask for from all economic operators that every product found on the Kosovar market and that is not respected on the basis of the laws in force, and on the basis of the constitution that Kosovo market, that part of the declarations to be covered”, Shala said.
“here will not be sold any goods that write “Kosovo Metohija” or “Pristina” that there is information that they are writing even names of several other cities and not the name that are importers to the state of Kosovo”, he said.
