UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres' report on UNMIK's work will be discussed today at the UN Security Council in New York, U.S.A.
After six months, the session on the situation in Kosovo was scheduled at the initiative of China, which took over the chairmanship of the Council on 1 November.
Great Britain, which had taken over the chairmanship of the UN Security Council presidency in August this year, had removed the three-month report on the situation in Kosovo from the agenda.
Some Western states agree that Kosovo report should not be so frequent
