Late last night, Great Britain Prime Minister Theresa May has reportedly reached agreement with Brussels. Its plan is hoped to avert the need for a reinforced border with Northern Ireland. However, even if its plan is approved by the European Union, it is likely that such a plan will not get enough votes in the lower British Parliament Houses.
This plan aims to avoid being blocked in negotiations with the EU for reaching a final EU withdrawal agreement on the country. The British government is trying to persuade Brussels to keep an emergency summit within a few days to seal “divorce” between Great Britain and the European Union and then win the support of the British Parliament's deputies.
A possible agreement on the inclusion of all United Kingdom states in a customs system would be included in the country's final EU withdrawal agreement, and thus there would be no need for control of goods on the border, but a simple audit would take place only in factories.
It is thought that May will initially present this plan to Brussels as a temporary plan, otherwise the alternative would remain an uncoupled withdrawal without agreement in March, which is estimated to have major implications for Great Britain, writes “Dalymail”
