Scientists are thrilled with the historical achievement: Vote to Change the kilogram

After nearly 130 years since the kilo was defined by a mass of metal in a scale in Paris, scientists have voted to change this and a new system will redefine the global mass mass in terms of the fundamental constant nature, Periscope follows.
Kilogram from here on out will be defined by Planck's constant, a number that is deeply connected to the quantum world.
The vote was unanimous. It was very emotional.” Said Stephan Schlamminger, a physicist from the American National Institute of Standards and Technology who has voted for years on such a thing.
The IPK served the world well, but scientists who recently knew that even though the definition was precisely taken as a kilo, the weight changed over time.
Instead of the old system, the unit of mass will be used through electrical power to counteract the weight of the kilo in a car called the Kibble balance. /Periscopi
