Putin likes Macroni's proposal for a European Army

French President Emmanuel Macron's idea of a European army is a good omen and a positive process, Russian President Vladimir Putin points out in Paris, according to Russian news agency T. ASS, report them.

US President Donald Trump had considered Macron's proposal an insult to the United States of America.

Putin recalls that his proposal for a European army, initiated by Macron, was not a new initiative, citing, among other things, that one of his predecessors had started it in Elyzeão, former President Jacques Chirac.

Europe is a strong economic capacity and for an economic power it is logical to be independent and sovereign in the defence and security sector”, the head of the Kremlin said, judging this process as essentially positive in the view of strengthening a multipolar world.
