Prosecutor Shows Evidence Found for Ivanovic's Murder During raid in the North

The Special Prosecutor has provided details regarding today's action in the north, where four people were arrested as suspects in the murder of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic.

In the prosecutor, some locals and properties in the northern part of Mitrovica say have been checked, because it is estimated that there is real likelihood that important evidence for criminal work can be discovered and confiscated in these locals.

“In order to implement legitimate and fair procedures for obtaining evidence and arresting persons suspected of the criminal offence to the murder of Oliver Ivanoviqi, on the basis of the Special Prosecutor's request of the Republic of Kosovo, and the order issued in writing by the Judge of the Criminal Procedure in Pristina, have been checked by some locals and property in the northern part of Mitrovica, because it is estimated that there are real possibilities that in these locals, houses and properties can be discovered and seized important evidence for criminal work”, the Prosecutor's Commission states.

During this action, Kosovo's “Police have found weapons without permission and other matter that constitute criminal work, which is pursued under official office. ”
