State Chief Prosecutor Aleksandar Lumezi has confirmed that he is working on completing and improving the indictment known as “Venterians”.
Given that only a few days have remained since the 30-day deadline, set by the Constitutional Court in Pristina, chief prosecutor Lumezi does not rule out the possibility of additional time being required by the Court for improving and fulfilling this indictment.
There is less than a week left since the completion of the deadline for improvement and fulfillment of the indictment for the case known as “Venterians”, appointed by Pristina Foundation Court Judge Nushe Kuka-Mekaj, for Kosovo Special Prosecutor (PSRK).
However, it seems that 30 days of time set by the Constitutional Court of Pristina is not enough for Kosovo's Special Prosecutor to improve and fulfill the indictment against the 12 former heads of the Government Commission for the recognition and Verification of the Veterans' Status, Agim Ceku, Nureddin Lushtaku, Sadik Halitjaha, Shumbin Demalijaj, Qela Gashi, Shukri Buja, Ahmet Dacu, Rrustem Berisha, Fazli, Smajl Elezaj, Fadil Shudil of Jajarri. Foundation Court spokeswoman in Pristina, Mirlinda Gashi, has told the newspaper “Sound” The Court has yet to accept the indictment by the Special Prosecutor.
