Regarding the protests held today in several different locations in the country, such as Gracanica, Shrpca and several locations in northern Mitrovica, Kosovo police have in time made all necessary police preparations aimed at maintaining order and public security, ahead, during and after the protests.
Kosovo police recognise citizens' right to public gatherings, free speech at public gatherings, protests and manifestations in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and laws in power.
Protests began at around 12: 00 p.m. and ended at about 13: 00 p.m., since during this period of time on several street protests in the north, the flow of vehicles has been temporarily interrupted.
It is worth noting that the protests have been quiet, and after the distribution of protesters roads have been released for vehicle flow.
