Despite the Serbian List has offered ten votes for the collapse of Haradinaj Government, neither is it currently working on the opposition.
The Democratic League of Kosovo said it needs another 3-4 votes to bring down Government, but with the Serbian List's expression of readiness to vote on the Haradinaj government's collapse, opposition parties have withdrawn.
Rexhep Selimi from the Vetevendosje Movement says they will not support the collapse of the government by the Serbian List votes.
“Vetevendosje Movement has not co-operated with the Serbian List even when this government was formed, and does not even co-operate to bring down this government”, says Rexhep Selimi, RTV Dukaagjini.
The Social Democrat Party and Alternatives still do not have official positions on this topic, but say they will hold party meetings very soon and decide whether to join the LDK and the Serbian List to overthrow the government, Telegrafi notes.
Otherwise, the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, who says he is willing to cut the mandate of this government even with the votes of the Serbian List.
This opposition withdrawal, Rasim Alija from the D4D, sees it as reasonable, as he says, the collapse of the government with the Serbian list votes and the reason why it is supporting the motion would bring a bad message to the public.
“In the case where we are, the only mechanism of opposition parties to bring down Government is the Serbian List votes. But the subjects see that the message conveyed to their electorate is bad, in the sense that the Serbian List votes come exactly after the tax is imposed on Serbian products”, Rasim Alija from the organisation “D4D” said.
Due to the 10% tax the Kosovo government has decided on goods coming from Serbia, the Serbian List has offered its ten votes for the collapse of Haradinaj government.
