MPs call for changing Article 22 of the Constitution

MPs from the Kosovo Assembly have accepted an announcement that concerns the proposal for the ratification of Article 22 of the Constitution for the inclusion of the Council of Europe Convention on the prevention and fighting violence against women and domestic violence. Signings for this change, which Aida Dorgi has proposed, have already given 80 deputies.
On the other hand, Koha Ditore agrees that the Constitutional Court has asked MPs to present comments to assess “if the proposed amendment reduces human rights and freedoms”.
