Milaim Zeka along with Ilir Krasniqi and Edmund Krliu have appeared before the tribunal today over the prosecution's claims that they have committed the same criminal acts involving fraud and money laundering.

But in regard to these claims by the Prosecutor, special prosecutor At and Dema at today's session stated that he has not accepted all objections on the part of defenders of the accused.

“I have only acknowledged the opposition of defendants Ilir Krasniqi, lawyers Rame Dresaj and Ramiz Krasniqi. As far as we're talking, I haven't accepted objections about the other two indictees, and I believe today is not the moment to respond without reading it”, said prosecutor At and Dema.

After objections from the defence party had not arrived in the prosecutor's office in time, the case judge Mustafe Tahiri physically handed these objections over to the other two indictees, Milaim Zeka and Edmond Krliu.

Regarding the objections that both defenders and accused have put forward in writing, they stood next to the objections presented in writing.

Afterwards, Judge Mustafe Tahiri said he would decide with a special decision following the assessment of requests for dropping the indictment, which would then be handed over to the parties.

Judge Mustafe Tahiri charged the special prosecutor with writing down the answers to objections and requests for impeachment.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo has filed charges with the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Randa Crime Department, against defendants Ilir Krasniqi, Milaim Zeka and Edmond Krliu, for criminal fraud acts, avoided taxes, as well as for criminal money laundering.

According to the Special Prosecutor's Act, Ilir Krasniqi and Milaim Zeka, from 2016 to March 2017, with the aim of illegal property benefits, originally high-ranking defendants in 02.06.2016 have registered business, as employment agencies, where they have presented false facts about the employment of Kosovo citizens in Germany, so that indictees Ilir Krasniqi and Milim Zeka have deceived 900 applicants for work visas.

The special prosecution accuses them of how co-chairees committed criminal fraud, as well as of being accused of having committed criminal work in co-ordination, avoiding taxes.

Also, defendants Ilir Krasniqi, Milaim Zeka and Edmund Krliu have, according to the Prosecution, committed the criminal work of money laundering over criminal fraud and tax evasion.
