Merkel's government calls on Kosovo: Stop the tax, worry about tensions in the Balkans

“The issue of which we have no consensus at all is the establishment of a 100 per cent tax from Kosovo on Serbia's products”, Merkel government spokesman Stephen Seibert said during a news conference in Berlin on Wednesday, writes ãoBloomberg.
He has also said Germany would prefer that Serbia allow the Republic of Kosovo to join INTERPOL.
As for the idea of exchanging territories between Kosovo and Serbia remains unchanged.
It has stressed that the territorial integrity of all Western Balkan countries is extremely important”, Seibert reported.
Germany, however, will support a stable reciprocal agreement between the two sides.
“We hope that both sides will return quickly to dialogue”, Merkel government spokesman added.
He has also called for both sides to avoid any escalation of the situation.
