After the end of the meeting at the British ambassador's residence, when asked about the reason for this visit, Thaci gave this answer:

For lunch, just for fun, he said.

More than that, he did not say, nor did he explain whether a meeting like the British and his most colleagues had him earlier in the day.

During the meeting with the British ambassador, President Thaci has been accompanied by his two advisers, Blerim Shala and Ardian Arifaj.

Neither did the British Embassy provide much details about this visit by Thaci.
