At the Interpol General Assembly under way in Dubai, 200 member states cast their vote for Kosovo membership in the organisation. 76 states have voted in favour, 56 against and 22 of them have abstained. Among the states that opposed Kosovo's membership and supported Serbia's reasoning were Spain, Morocco, Cyprus, China, [...]

Among the states that opposed Kosovo's membership and supported Serbia's reasoning were Spain, Morocco, Cyprus, China, Belarus, Russia, Romania, Venezuela, Namibia, Suriname...

Kosovo must secure 2/3 of the overall votes for membership.
