Thaci said Kosovo citizens deserve free movement, and the sooner it happens is better.
We will work with EU member states only to make that happen in the near future”, Thaci said.
The president further stressed that, despite this, dialogue with Serbia must continue and that without mutual recognition, there will be no secure future.
” We will work on reaching a comprehensive agreement with international legal obligations”, Thaci said, adding that no agreement reached makes sense without mutual recognition.
On the other hand, Kurz, visa liberalisation for Kosovars has seen it with scepticism. He has said that Kosovo must pass its final test on the European Council, where, according to him, many states are sceptical that Kosovars must move freely.
“Here has followed a positive decision by the European Commission, but also the Council of Europe has to vote, there are more European countries here I am more cautious because of the scepticism of some countries which may not support visa liberalisation for Kosovars”, Kurz said.
