Today's event took place on the “Tirana” street route from which over 50 sacks of waste went through the road belt.

Dozens of volunteers attended the action that began at 11:00.

It was called on by citizens to be more responsible to the environment and to preserve it, not throwing waste over road generations.

Let's Do Kosova informs you that from the “campaign Clearing Kosovo”, which started on September 15th and so far, has been cleared near 400 illegal waste depots.

On the other hand, under the activities of this campaign, today the Letés Do It Kosova team has held a meeting with Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqi, with whom Bytyqi is discussed the possibilities for co-operation in the field of environmental education.

At today's meeting, Let's Do It Kosova Executive Director Luan Hasanaj has said he is piloting a training module in 4 Kosovo municipalities regarding the establishment of primary and lower school and middle school teachers in the field of education and added that it would be of interest to expand to other municipalities as well.

While Minister Bytyqi indicated that he is considering legal opportunities to seek his own commitment to schools, which would set a week-long lesson devoted to cleaning the environment in and outside the school, and that this would have to be a lasting, long-term solution.

“Campaign Clearing Kosovo” will continue until 15 December, so it is important that each citizen make the contribution to a clean Kosovo, without illegal waste depots.

So we call on them to respond positively to our ongoing calls for participation in campaign activities “To clear Kosovo” in order to raise awareness of public space maintenance.
