He says this “is something that should naturally be clarified through dialog”.
The “in reality, what would be the border (of Kosovo) with Serbia is part of the settlement that would be reached with Serbia and out of the dialogue, coming out of... this is mostly part of the solution and discussions that will be undertaken within the format of dialogue”, says General Salvatore Cuocci in an interview for Koha Ditore.
As a journalist, I need to track a little deeper. If, for example, KFOR commander, after five years or ten, receives a letter from the president of Kosovo in which it says: “Please hand over the KSF military border forces”, what would be the response of KFOR commander, if nothing changes in terms of mandate?
Cuocci: There is an obligation, and this obligation is provided by 1244 and also by Kosovo, with which we have a technical agreement in power, so there is no limit in reality and that is a big issue we have.
