The case judge, following the presentation of evidence by Special Prosecutor Syla Hoxha, has not yet made a decision for the suspects. While it is expected that in the following hours it will be set for the measure of detention against the defendants.
After the hearing's conclusions, prosecutor Hoxha said his request for detention for up to thirty days has taken into account the evidence he has.
According to him, he has a valid suspicion, and for that he has made the decision. He stressed that the court must already say its word, while as long as this decision is made, it depends on the judge.
“I have gone to the request for the detention measure against the three suspects who as you are aware and you, yesterday have been arrested in Mitrovica, so I went away considering that I have evidence of a based suspicion and have demanded as a measure of security, the amount of detention with the intention of the normal course of criminal procedure, which is under way following the killing of the late now, Oliver Ivanovic. This should be decided by the judge of the preliminary procedure... as long as it decides depends on the judge of the preliminary procedure”, he said.
As for the evidence, prosecutor Silas Hoxha added that it cannot declare how powerful they are, as this would impede the investigation process.
Around 11:00 p.m., she was the first to start sessions, but she was late until the evening hours. According to prosecutor Hoxha this has happened after the defendants' defenders have been delayed because they have had to come from northern Mitrovica.
