The government's yesterday decision to ban the import of Serbian products that do not refer to Kosovo as the Republic of Kosovo has begun to implement. Today, all trucks with Serbian goods have been turned back from police in Merdare, and are not allowed into Kosovo territory.
The country's “government imposes the Ministry of Trade and Industry and all relevant institutions to remove and prohibit potential import and market access of all products, which do not refer to and are contrary to the official and constitutional appointment of the Republic of Kosovo. The decision immediately goes into effect, and relevant institutions are obliged to implement it immediately as well”, the government made the decision yesterday.
