In a conference held in Pristina with Kosovo counterpart Behgjet Pacolli,

Szijártó has said it supports reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.

Our “policy to support you on EU integration and other organisations is unchanged. Hungary will remain a committed supporter of visa liberalisation for Kosovo. It is unfair how the EU behaves towards Kosovo on visa terms. Because Kosovo has met the requirements. Hungary is a staunch supporter of visas, and will vote To. I want to talk to you about another issue, the one with the dialogue you have in Serbia. We are full supporters for you to be successful in the issue of dialogue with Serbia. We are in Africa in the Western Balkans and we understand what peace and stability means. We hope you will be successful in this matter”, he said.

Szijártó has also spoken briefly about former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who has sought political asylum in Hungary. The Hungarian diplomat said it is legal and not political issues, and that it remains relevant authorities to consider the request.

While Pacolli said Kosovo is interested in intensifying the co-operation of the economic acts of Hungary and Kosovo.

The two countries have so far signed a series of agreements that are under implementation. We as Government, together with the government of the friendly state, have made it possible to facilitate co-operation between the two countries' economic operators. We have everything to learn. Hungary's private sector. I'm glad we fit in with common agreements. With Hungary we have numerous agreements, and so today, with the Ministry of Infrastructure, we have the opportunity to have productive cooperation. With the implementation of this agreement, we will have more secure highways”, he said.
