Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, deputy chairman The PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, has talked about the visa liberalisation process for Kosovo.
Hoxhaj has declared that if the EU does not remove visas for Kosovo then Kosovo will hardly believe about the dialogue process with Serbia.
Kosovo has committed and fulfilled all criteria for visa liberalisation, and the European Union has promised free movement of Kosovo citizens with the fulfillment of these criteria. But if there is hesitation today from some EU capitals regarding decision-making in this process, why should Kosovo trust this institution in dialogue with Serbia”, Hoxhaj wrote.
He asks if the EU and member states are unable to adhere to the promises they have given them, why should we believe they can dictate Serbia's will to recognise Kosovo?
