A nine-year-old boy has been beaten to death by relatives in eastern France after refusing to do school homework at home.
His mother, siblings, and brother - in - law were arrested Wednesday after the son's death on September 17th.
The nine-year-old whose identity is unknown died in his home in the town of Mulhouse.
His mother was not at home when he was raped to death but was arrested for questioning.
The circumstances of his death are not yet clear, but prosecutors say he was badly persecuted after refusing to do his homework.
Autopsy claims that beating was the most likely cause of death.
