The Constitutional Court in Pristina has concluded hearings against the three Serbs arrested yesterday in northern Mitrovica, who are suspected of killing the leader of the Serbian Civic Initiative: Leri, democracy, justice, Oliver Ivanovic.
Special Prosecutor Syla Hoxha has said the detention measure has been requested based on strong evidence that the defendants have committed criminal acts.
“I have applied for the detention measure, this move I have requested given that I have evidence of taking criminal prosecutions against suspects”, he said.
Prosecutor Hoxha added that following the request's presentation, it is up to the court when it makes the decision.
Regarding their evidence, he stressed that it cannot be declared about them because it prevents the process.
While, for the reason of the delays, he said this has happened because of attorneys' irresponsibilities.
