The U.S. State Department closely observes the case of Nikola Gruevski, especially after being approved for asylum in Hungary, writes the Hungarian newspaper “Nepszava” today.
From the State Department, at the request of the Hungarian newspaper, they have reiterated their position by emphasising Gruevski's conviction for two years after the “a fundamental and transparent” process.
The State Department stress that four criminal procedures are under way against Gruevski and that they are needed to continue in Macedonia's judicial system.
Macedonia's former prime minister, Nikola Gruevski, on Tuesday announced he has received asylum in Hungary. Macedonian authorities have called for abolishing Gruevski's decision on asylum and extradition to Macedonia. /Alsat-M/
