Government: That's why we took action in the north

She has said that police action in northern Kosovo that links with the detention of several suspects in the murder of politician Oliver Ivanovic is carried out at the order of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the statement, police action was in full accordance with the law, conforming to the Special Prosecutor's order, and does not in any way contact any political development. The Kosovo government ensures all citizens that the state of Kosovo and its rule bodies in no way and will never be guided against any ethnic or political group.

In this case, the Government of Kosovo calls on all citizens, political subjects, mayors, especially those in the north and other bodies, to contribute to maintaining and advancing public calm, in the service of peace and stability.

It's more important that no one falls prey to different disinfectants. Maintaining order and respecting the law is in the interest of all in Kosovo, the statement concludes.
