German Airlines From Next Year to Kosovo

Together with partner Air Pristina, the German airline will expand its network of flights, opening among other things new lines from Pristina for Stuttgart, Hamburg and Hanover.
The existing lines, which are realised in co-operation with partner for and from Munich, Dusseldorf, Basil and Verona, will continue to operate further.
Germany's Ambassador to Pristina Christian Heldt has said that this investment is not only about diaspora needs but also other services. He added that the German air company's investment tells of dynamics and co-operation between Germany and Kosovo, and that he hopes this investment will affect employment growth.
Germany's “Investments in Kosovo are important for youth employment, now Germania, which will employ young and young people from the local country for support of travel staff. Thus, if the number of flights increases, so will the number of spaces to work. So I hope that this step can open as a liaison point from Pristina and Berlin. I believe this investment is a sign of importance to the future as far as Pristina Airport is concerned, it is important that this new aircraft take care of its”, Heldt said.
The German ambassador has said that with additional flights from the German airline company from Pristina Airport as a base, he hopes Germany will soon be the number one travel destination.

We appreciate the continued cooperation with Germania, and together we are adding our destination to our passengers. On the other hand, we believe that the ongoing process of prolonging the track will have positive effects at the International Airport “Adem Jashari”, Kokturk said.
Sieghard Jahn, a member of the German Group Board, praised fruitful co-operation with the Air Pristina company, which he said is based on mutual trust. He already pledged that after two years, the number of planes in Pristina will increase.
“Germany from next year or after two years will increase the number of planes. German is not a typical company, which is important to us with the stability of the flight, and that is why we provide security to passengers”, Jahn said.
Infrastructure Minister Pal Lekaj stressed that this line would mostly serve exiles and goods, while encouraging other companies to invest in Kosovo.
“I assure you that as the minister, but above all as the Government of Kosovo we will continue to remain partners for all airline companies, but other investors who are interested in investments here in Kosovo” have said Lekaj.
While Layla Ibrahimi from Air Pristina has said that co-operation with the German airline is that seven years and this investment creates new conditions and services with a high quality.
