Kosovo has met all criteria for liberalisation, envisioned with the guide we received in 2012, since then, we have worked hard for all criteria to be realised, Minister Hoxha stressed, adding that she already expects support in the process.
Minister Hoxha praised Estonia as a country that has consistently supported Kosovo on its integration path and expects further support, in particular now at the Council of Ministers meeting where visa liberalisation will be decided.
For our country, after confirmation by the European Commission that we have met all criteria, is a priority and necessity of visa liberalisation. In this direction, I request Estonia's support and the pro vote in the Council of Ministers so that our citizens can move free and finally be equal to the citizens of other neighbouring countries”, Minister Hoxha stressed.
“Zv. Minister Matti Maasikas assured Minister Hoxha that Estonia would support with the vote for visa liberalisation for Kosovo and stressed that Estonia has always been a supporter of important processes for Kosovo, especially when it comes to integration processes and commended Minister Hoxha for her work and commitment to advancing towards Kosovo's European integration”, they say in their announcement.
