According to Serbian media, the decision was made after the meeting Serbs from Kosovo had with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, a few days after the Kosovo government's decision to raise customs duties on goods of Serbia and Bosnia from 10 per cent to 100 per cent.
Marko Djuric, director of the so-called Serbian office for Kosovo, said Serbia will work 24 hours with Serbs in Kosovo to resolve the issue.
In a press release after the meeting, Djuric said that Pristina has carried out an economic measuresmenk against Serbs in Kosovo with the intent to expel them.
Serbs have also warned of the possibility of roadblocks and that protests in northern Mitrovica will be held at the Health Centre and the student centre.
