Kosovo Security Force Minister (FSK), Rrustem Berisha, has suggested that all necessary preparations have been made to mark Force Day, November 27th, with what cases citizens will be able to visit barracks where the equipment of this force will be introduced.
In a conversation for the newspaper “The new age”, he said this party found KSF more prepared than ever before. According to Berisha, this has been an extremely successful year for KSF.
Minister Berisha has warned that during December, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo will vote in second review the three bills with which the KSF's transformation into the military is envisioned.
It's an extremely successful year of KSF because we've had progress and positive developments. One of these developments is the maintenance and advancement of operational capacities the KSF has. Another positive development is the first reading and approval of three bills to transform the KSF. The particular adoption of these bills is the unanimous vote of all Albanian political subjects, but also those of other communities, besides the Serb community. We have also managed to advance regional co-operation, but also co-operation with our strategic partners. I think that even in the future we will work in this direction because the region will have an Allied force that will be in the service of lasting peace and stability in the region and, at large,”, Berisha has said.
