Not only the positive side has the digital revolution. Developing the internet and new computer systems, industrial control systems, developing mobile phones, mobile and tablet equipment has made individuals, but organisations and states very vulnerable to attacks. While many countries have stepped up preventative measures against such threats, but have also advanced the defence component, Kosovo is stuck behind.
Cybersecurity implies conditions in which cyberspace is protected regarding accidental or self - sufficient events that consist of obtaining and transferring data, modification, destruction, or blockage of communication and information systems because of inadequate security measures.
A cybercrime prevention and fighting law has been in force since 2010. A strategy has been drafted, likewise. The government itself has acknowledged that the law has not found implementation and that many of the actions required by the strategy have not been experienced.
