According to Hyseni, the experience of redefining borders in the Balkan countries has produced wars and has offered no sustainable solutions to either side, adding that dialogue with Serbia should continue on issues of common interest, and not on open issues such as Kosovo's status.
On the other hand, Hyseni has stressed that more than ever, internal political and social consensus is needed to succeed in the final phase of the dialogue.
Former Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci, Prime Minister Ramush Haradiaj, and Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli, who, according to him, have blamed the state leaders for this, have created a complete confusion of how the Republic of Kosovo is represented at the international level.
He has also mentioned visa liberalisation, which he has said would be a major injustice for Kosovo citizens if it is not done, while for membership in INTERPOL it has expressed sceptical.
